T-minus seven days until departure to the South Island of New Zealand for the next stage racing adventure. The inaugural running of Alps 2 Ocean begins on the 25th with a start in the Aoraki / Mount Cook region and ends up seven days later in the coastal town of Oamaru. The 190 mile (306 km) track will traverse some spectacular scenery and offer 11,250 ft (3,400 meters) of climb! This along with some finicky weather may make this one tough race.
There is no live tracking for this event so you are out of luck if you need to follow little pins from the comfort of your couch. However, if you wish to follow along there will be updates posted on the above web page or on their Facebook page Alps2Ocean Ultra 2k18.
